Sr. UX Designer
UX Lead for the Amazon Photos team, leading design and research for personalized photos experiences in the Alexa app and for Echo device customers. Designed and launched multiple improvements to the Photos apps including core navigation, feature discovery, and photo organization for iOS, Android, and Kindle devices. Previously UX Lead for the Retail Experience team on the Amazon shopping app, where I designed a modular framework and design system leveraged by partner teams to personalize and improve customer’s shopping profile experience.

UX Design Lead
Led small UX team in startup environment. Worked with product, engineering, and executive team to design and launch MySudo, an iOS security and privacy app. Ran the design process from the ground up to the first official release. I helped deploy our designs to beta users, and I was integral in launching the v1 app release to the iOS App Store.

Initially the lone designer in a startup app agency. Initiated a sprint-based design process into the product development lifecycle. I led product discovery, prototyping, usability testing, UI design and delivery for over 40 apps, games, and websites on iOS, Android, and desktop platforms.

Led design strategy for mobile device educational apps on iOS. I managed a small design team, oversaw UI design, testing, implementation and app store publishing. We released 2 apps, and reached top 5 in the educational category.

Interaction Designer
Designed several audio software interfaces for iOS, OSX and Windows. Worked directly with product, engineering, and executive team to conceptualize, design, and solve project development issues in a scrum environment. Initially part of the Marketing team, I designed various product illustrations and magazine publication print ads. I assisted with DVD video production, motion graphics, web design, product packaging, and training materials.

Graphic Designer / Preflight
Designed print and large format graphics to be used in structures, trade shows and exhibits. I created 3D renderings to help clients conceptualize structures prior to printing. I pre-flighted designs to meet specs for substrate and printing process. I worked directly with sales team and outside clients to understand the client needs and iterated designs until receiving client approval. I trained newly hired designers to get them up to speed on process.
